The excellent abruzzese pork butchery tradition of Sorrentino, an exciting mix of historicity and modernity, finds his maximum expression in this speciality.
The Guanciale, which has become an essential for many recipes of chefs, bloggers and restaurateurs.

The  Sorrentino guanciale has characteristics that make it unmatched: from trimming by the master butchers, to the hand-made application of freshly chopped black pepper, up to the slow seasoning. These are just some of the characteristics that allow to obtain an excellent result, for one of the most used products in kitchens all over the world.

The Sorrentino guanciale, shows a slice when cut with an excellent fat-lean balance; well-marbled muscle and slightly pinkish white fat.
The fragrance, sweet and enveloping, it anticipates an intriguing taste, with a very sweet fat that melts on contact with the palate.
Excellent both for appetizers and to be enjoyed fresh on a slice of hot bread, listening to the sizzle in the pan during the preparation of a carbonara is simply sweet; or for example, we can delight ourselves by enriching the thick circumference of a tenderloin medallion.

If you are undecided on how to use your Sorrentino guanciale, we give you some ideas! It is ideal for two of the most classic and delicious recipes of italian cuisine: pasta alla amatriciana and carbonara.
